Robert T. Kiyosaki and Sharon Lechter wrote Rich Dad, Poor Dad in 1997. It promotes financial knowledge (financial education), financial freedom, and wealth creation through asset trading, real estate dealing, beginning and running companies, and improving one’s financial intelligence. (financial IQ).
Rich Dad Poor Dad is written in the form of a series of tales based on Kiyosaki’s life. The titular “rich dad” is his friend’s father, who amassed wealth through business and wise investing, while the “poor dad” is Kiyosaki’s own father, who he claims worked diligently his entire life but never achieved financial stability.
Nobody has ever demonstrated that “Rich Dad,” the guy who allegedly provided Kiyosaki all of his wealth-building guidance, ever existed. No one has ever recorded Kiyosaki’s vast reserves of money previous to the release of Rich Dad Poor Dad in 1997.
