WAEC GCE Registration Closing Date 2022

The closing date for registration for the 2022 WASSCE Private Candidate Examination is October 17, 2022, at 12.00 midnight. The deadline for the generation of PIN is October 15, 2022.

If you are interested in registering for the examination, please follow the steps below:

  1. Register and submit all required details before the deadline.
  2. Make sure you have everything you need before the exam date.
  3. Get plenty of rest and relax the night before the exam.

How to Apply for the 2021/2022 WAEC GCE Form

Candidates are required to pay a registration fee of Eighteen Thousand Naira (N18,000) at branches of any of the following banks or any accredited agent to obtain the Registration PIN and Information VCD:

Please note that candidates will be required to pay a Five Hundred Naira (N500) commission to the banks/accredited agents. After obtaining the Registration PIN, candidates should log on to https://registration.waecdirect.org for registration.

Candidates MUST conclude registration within two weeks of first access to the website during the registration period. They should ensure that their names, gender, passport photographs, dates of birth, and subjects are correct.

Candidates should print their Admission Notice/Photo Card as proof of successful registration. This will serve as identification during the examination. The Result Checker PIN will also be on the Photo Card. Only Digital Personal Scanner should be used for fingerprint registration.

If candidates have any challenges, they may send an email to Customer Care or call 234-1-9049320. Candidates may also visit the nearest computer registration center in their locality to proceed with the registration.

General Information for GCE Registration 2021/2022 Second Series

  1. Before registering for the examination, candidates should view the Information VCD. Please note that the registration fee is non-refundable.
  2. After registering, candidates should print out the examination timetable.
  3. When it comes to uploading passport photos, only those of good quality will be accepted.
  4. The photos must be passport-sized, the background must not be blue or red, and the pixel size should be 275 by 314. Any entries that do not meet these requirements will be rejected.
  5. Candidates who want to do well on the examination should study the Regulations and Syllabuses as well as the Timetable, which can be found on the WAEC website www.waeconline.org.ng.
  6. To be allowed into the examination hall, candidates must not be wearing any type of uniform and must not have any weapons on their person.
  7. Any candidate who is caught smoking in the examination hall will have their entire results canceled.
  8. Any candidate who is caught with a mobile phone and/or any other electronic gadget will have their results canceled. In order to avoid having your entire results canceled, candidates must ensure that all of their information is correctly completed before uploading.
  9. The council will not be responsible for any errors in the candidate’s information.
  10. Requests for corrections will not be accepted after the examination has begun. Candidates must come into the examination hall with their original Photo Card.
  11. Candidates who engage in examination malpractice will have their results canceled and may be prosecuted. Candidates must provide a valid email address and telephone number during registration.
