When is JAMB Registration for 2024 starting?

The JAMB registration will start on Monday, January 15th, 2024, and ends on Monday, February 26th, 2024

One of these important requirements is the NIN, (National Identification Number), without which one would not be able to participate in the registration process.

JAMB has also advised prospective candidates to familiarise themselves with the JAMB IBASS (Integrated Brochure and Syllabus System) ahead of the examination.

The IBASS is an important feature of the registration process because it helps the candidates be well-informed about the requirements for their desired course of study.

It would also help them get familiar with the JAMB 2024 syllabus.

How much is JAMB Form 2024?

Here’s a quick rundown of all you’ll need to pay to get your registration done:

To gain access to your registration form, you would have to purchase an E-PIN.

You can purchase your E-PIN from accredited vendors; an example of these are commercial banks. So you can visit any commercial bank around you to get it done.

You will need to pay N7,700 for the registration fee, which includes the cost of the e-PIN, the reading text, and the service charge. You can register online or at any accredited JAMB CBT center near you.

You must pay this fee at the CBT registration Centre.

How to register for JAMB 2022?

Here is a step-by-step guide on how to go about your registration for JAMB 2022

It is a continuous process that you can complete in a day. Keep reading.

Step 1: Generate your JAMB profile code.

The profile code is a 10-digit number assigned to each candidate. This means that no two candidates can have the same profile code.

To generate your profile code, send your NIN to 55019. Afterward, a confirmation message will be sent to you.

Note that the phone number you use in doing this will be linked to your profile.

So take care to use an active phone number.

Step 2: Purchase your E- Pin.

As explained earlier, you can purchase your E- Pin from any commercial bank around you. You could also purchase it directly from the JAMB website

You would need to provide the previously generated profile code in order to purchase this.

It is this E -Pin, that would enable you access your registration form.

Step 3: Filling JAMB 2024 Registration Form.

At this point, you would need to provide such personal details as:

• Full name: Make sure this is in the same format as was used when generating your profile code. That way you can avoid any technical problems in the future.
• Date of birth
• E-mail address: this should be a valid and active Email address. Also, you should provide an Email address that hasn’t been used previously by anyone in registering for JAMB
• O – level result.: Make sure you take a hard copy of your O- level result ( WAEC, NECO, and so on) with you to the registration centre. You would be required to scan this and upload, as part of the registration process.

Step 4: Provide a password.

This would be the password that protects your newly created profile, and grants you access to it.

However, it is advisable to use something you can easily recall as your password.

This would help you hedge against forgetfulness and save you the stress of account retrieval.

Note that, if you are interested in taking the JAMB mock examination, you should make sure to notify the personnel helping you with the registration process to indicate that in your form.

If you are filling the form by yourself, tick the box beside the mock examination option to indicate your interest.

This is important because if you do not indicate interest at this point , there would be no other opportunity for you to do so.

Examination Date.

After completing the registration, you will need to wait for a while before JAMB uploads your examination printout onto your portal.

This printout will contain your examination date and center.

You will need to get the hard copy of this and take it along with you to your stipulated center on your examination day.

The JAMB (Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board) examination for the 2024/2025 academic session is scheduled to start on Friday, 19th April 2024, and will run for a duration of two weeks, ending on Monday, 29th April 2024.

Is NIN compulsory for JAMB 2024 Registration?

Well the answer is Yes!

The NIN is a compulsory requirement for the 2022 registration process. Without it, you would be unable to start the registration.

• Valid Email Address.

You would be required to submit an active Email Address in order to complete your registration .

Updates on your examination would be sent to this address.

• Active Phone Number

• JAMB profile.
