How to Apply for NSUK Pre-Degree Admission Form (2024/2025 Session)

The management of Nasarawa State University, Keffi, has announced that applications are now open for its Pre-Degree Programme for the 2024/2025 academic session. Interested and qualified candidates are encouraged to apply by following these steps:

  1. Visit the Official Registration Portal:
    Go to the NSUK official portal: https://nsuk.edu.ng/.
  2. Select the Appropriate Option:
    On the portal, select the “Pre-Degree Admission Form” option.
  3. Provide Your Contact Information:
    Enter a valid email address and phone number. Ensure these details are active and accessible.
  4. Make Payment:
    Proceed to pay the application fee via the online payment platform. Payment options include:
    • ATM card (e.g., Visa, MasterCard).
    • Renita Payment Platform.
    If you encounter difficulties during payment, consider seeking assistance from a trusted commercial computer center.
  5. Complete the Registration Form:
    After payment, return to the enrollment platform and:
    • Fill in all required personal and academic details.
    • Create a secure password.
  6. Print Registration Slip:
    After completing the registration, print the registration slip. This document will include information about the screening date and other important details.

General Guidelines for NSUK Pre-Degree Enrollment (2023/2024)

  • Avoid Impersonation or Falsified Documents:
    Candidates who submit false documents or impersonate others will be disqualified.
  • Screening Date Compliance:
    Candidates who miss the scheduled screening date will forfeit their chances of admission.
  • O’Level Requirements:
    Applicants must have a minimum of five (5) O’Level credits, including English Language, Mathematics, and three other relevant subjects for their desired course of study. These credits must be obtained in no more than two (2) sittings.

NSUK Pre-Degree (Remedial) Programme Requirements & Subject Combinations

Eligible candidates must meet the following requirements:

  1. Basic Requirements:
    • A minimum of three (3) O’Level credits in subjects from Arts, Sciences, or Social Sciences.
  2. JAMB Qualification:
    Candidates must sit for the UTME (JAMB) and provide O’Level results with at least five (5) credits (including English Language and Mathematics) to qualify for admission into the degree programme.
  3. Programme Overview:
    • The Interim Joint Matriculation Board (IJMB) programme is a one-year (12 months) intensive academic course designed to prepare candidates for direct admission into the 200-level degree programmes of NSUK and other universities in Nigeria.

NSUK One-Year Remedial French Programme (2023/2024)

NSUK also offers a one-year remedial program in French for beginners who wish to pursue a career in the French language. Requirements include:

  • O’Level Results:
    Candidates must have at least five (5) O’Level credits, including Mathematics, English Language, and French.
  • UTME Score:
    Applicants must meet the required UTME cut-off points for admission into the degree program.
