NIN WILL DELAY 2022 REGISTRATION: SEE WHAT JAMB SAYS

The Joint Admission and Matriculation Board, JAMB, has made known to the necessary public in its new release, that NIN will delay 2022 UTME registration.

This was revealed by the spokesperson for JAMB, Dr. Fabian Benjamin. 

Though NIN will delay 2022 UTME registration, the body, on Monday, 3rd January, 2022, cleared the air that the adoption of the NIN is necessary.

This is  to turn the impropriety of examination irregularities such as impersonation and multiple registration.

Recall that early last year, NIN also caused a delay in the registration for the UTME exams. 

He went further to state that although NIN will delay 2022 UTME registration, the body is striving to ensure that this year’s UTME would be the best so far.

The spokesperson, while noting that NIN will delay 2022 UTME registration, said that the use had many advantages associated with it.

It is no longer news- except you live in a cave – that JAMB has mandated the use of the NIN as a requirement for the UTME exam 2022.

 If you’re yet to acquire your NIN, well, you’re halfway to getting it, if you follow this guide.

  • Visit the NIMC online website and fill your details in the pre-enrolment form.

 Click on the www.nimc.gov.ng, then, access the pre-enrolment portal at https://petrol.nimc.gov.ng

  • Correctly fill in the available fields; down and print the slip.
  • Go to the nearest NIMC registration Center with the requested valid documents.
  • Necessary documents will be verified, on getting there.
  • If verification is successful, Congratulations! Your biometrics will be captured. 

Afterwards, a transaction ID slip is issued to you.

  • After about a space of 2-3 working days, your NIN slip is ready for collection.
