Application for Admission to Catholic University, Ghana, the Year 2023/24

Application to the College of the Catholic University of Ghana, Class of 2023. The Catholic University College of Ghana (CUG) accepts applications from eligible individuals for the 2023/2024 entrance year.

Registration for the CUG form for the academic year 2023-2024 will begin in December 2023, and the application may be found at www.cug.edu.gh. Catholic University College’s 2023 admissions application deadline has been set for January/February.

Guidelines for Applying to the CUG in 2023

Applicants to the Catholic University of Ghana should be aware that the minimum entry requirements for CUG are credits (A1-C6 in WASSCE and A-D in SSSCE) in English, Core Mathematics, Integrated Science (for science-related programs) or Social Studies (for non-science-related programs), and three relevant electives.

Prospective students can submit an application by visiting www.cug.edu.gh and selecting the “Apply” button, or by going directly to https://admissions.cug.edu.gh.

• You can enter the voucher SERIAL and PIN into the appropriate fields on the form on the right.
• Mark your admission type (Post WASSCE/SSCE, Post Diploma, Matured, etc.) and entry manner. You may begin the application process by clicking the submit button.
• Get a passport photo taken, fill out an application, then send it in. The passport photo must be no more than 100KB and in.jpg,.jpeg,.png, or.gif format. Upload a photo of yourself where we can easily see your face.
• To store your application and return to it at a later time, click the SAVE AND CONTINUE LATER button.
• Clicking the SUBMIT AND PRINT option will submit the form and produce a reference number which will be delivered to the phone number you supplied.
• Before submitting the form, double-check that all of the information you’ve entered is right. After submitting a form, no changes can be made.

Factors to Consider for Admission to Catholic University in 2023/24

1. The university reserves the right to exclude applicants whose registration forms contain inconsistencies, such as misspelled names or inappropriate photos.
2. The name on the application and the name on the ‘O’ or ‘A’ Level Certificate must match.
3. Participants MUST be at least sixteen (16) years old to participate in the drill.
4. Students who are still waiting for their SSCE results or its equivalent can also apply for admission, as long as their results will be ready by the time classes resume.
5. It will not be possible to switch courses after applications have been submitted.
6. Candidates must register using a valid personal telephone (GSM) number and email address.
7. Forms sent after the deadline will not be processed, therefore applicants should plan ahead to ensure their submissions arrive on time.
8. Candidates can register online from anywhere and do not need to be physically present on the university campus to do so.
9. After applications have been submitted with the required materials, no more materials will be considered.
