  • Computer Science: 180
  • Economics: 180
  • Education: 170
  • Law: 220
  • Nursing: 220

Direct Entry (DE) candidates are also eligible to apply, provided they meet the specific requirements for their desired programs​

Key Dates and Registration Process

  1. Registration Period:
    • Begins: July 25th, 2024
    • Ends: September 15th, 2024
    • During this period, prospective students must complete their registration on the BASUG Admissions Portal
  2. Screening Schedule Check:
    • From September 17th to September 20th, 2024, candidates should check their screening schedule on the BASUG admissions portal.
  3. Post-UTME Screening:
    • Dates: September 22nd to September 26th, 2024
    • Mode: Online Computer-Based Test (CBT)​.

Steps to Register

Follow these steps to register for the BASUG Post-UTME:

  1. Visit the BASUG Admissions Portal.
  2. Click on “APPLY FOR PUTME” and sign up by providing the required details to create an account. Ensure you provide an active email and personal phone number.
  3. Log in using your email address or JAMB registration number as the username and the password you created during signup.
  4. Select the type of application (2024/2025 PUTME application) and fill in the required details.
  5. Obtain a Remita Retrieval Reference (RRR) and make the payment of N2,000 (excluding bank charges) online or at any commercial bank.
  6. After successful payment, upload a 1″x1″ colored passport photograph with a red background in JPEG format.
  7. Upload details of your O’Level result(s) obtained at not more than two sittings from WAEC, NECO, or NABTEB.
  8. Preview, confirm, submit, and print out the completed screening form​.

Candidates must provide accurate information during registration. Any false details or incorrect credentials may lead to disqualification.
