The JAMB Original Result Slip is the official result from JAMB, and it is the only result that carries endorsement. It contains your JAMB result as well as other personal details including your picture, date of birth, and address, and therefore it is used for official purposes like submission at your university of choice, alongside admission letter.

The JAMB ORIGINAL RESULT SLIP is NOT RESULT NOTIFICATION SLIP.

You would notice that the result notification slip is the one that is shown to you when you check your JAMB result on JAMB portal. It will not have your passport photograph on it.

Therefore, while the result notification slip is usable, it is not official.

Do you need to print the Original Jamb Result Slip?

YES! That’s the only acceptable result slip in Tertiary Universities.

Your UTME Notification of result is merely to give you a breakdown of your scores in each of the subjects taken during the exam. It does not contain personal information like your passport photograph, date of birth, and address, institutions, and courses you applied for; hence, it is only meant for you and cannot be submitable.

Nevertheless, the basic differences between the JAMB Original Result Slip and the Notification of result is that the JAMB Original TResult slip will show the following;

• Passport photo
• Schools and courses of choice.

The JAMB Original Result Slip is very important as it is usually required if;

1. You want to write Post-UTME  Admission screening exercise for your school of choice. It is will be required document to be submitted on the screening day or you may be asked to upload it online.

2. You are intending to choose a new school or your first choice school. It’ll be requested for verification purpose.

3. You want to submit your Jamb score to any university or institution, for any kind of admission purpose.

Please note that the original Jamb Result Slip must have your passport photograph on it. If it does not have your passport photograph on it, then it is not valid and cannot be accepted for official purposes.

How To Pay and Print Your JAMB Original Result Slip

1.  Go To Jamb Portal >> Click here (login to your efacility account) Can’t login? Send us a message on WhatsApp, (our services are not free)
2. On the left-hand side of the page, under the list of services, click on “Print Result Slip” NOT Result Notification
3. The payment details will be displayed, click on “Continue with Payment”
4. You will be taken to the remita payment page. Make payment using any of the options available.
5. Your result will be sent to your email upon successful payment. It can also be printed from your portal. However, you can also go back to your email to reprint it in the event that you lose it. It’ll be FREE!

Note:

1. JAMB Charges N1000 for printing. You may also incur remita charges. Use Visa or Mastercard. Verve will not work.

2. Ensure you use the correct details for login in. Correct email, correct password and ensure your examination year is correct.
